Hey take it easy! I'm Aziz Ansari. I'm a comedian and actor. This is my new hour standup special Dangerously Delicious. You can buy it for $5 and download or stream it right away.

Why are you releasing the special like this?

I filmed this special at the Warner Theatre in DC in June of 2011 after a long tour. I funded the production myself so I could own it and release it how I pleased. I wanted to release it online because I saw how many people viewed clips from my last special online on sites like YouTube. I also like releasing it myself because there are no commercials, bleeps, or any of that stuff. This is exactly like it was if you saw the live show. After seeing the success of Louis CK's special (which was released in a similar fashion) and numerous people asking me if I would do the same, this seemed like the best route.

Are you going to release audio?

Due to an existing contract with Comedy Central from my last special, I can't release audio, I only own rights to the video. I may release the audio through a more traditional route later down the road, but that is TBD. Only on the video do I own the rights to do something like release direct for $5. If you want audio, my best suggestion is to download the special and close your eyes after hitting play.

What does my computer need to be able to do for me to buy and watch this special?

This site is compatible with all operating systems and browsers, all that's required is Javascript and Adobe Flash. Click this link to make sure you have Adobe Flash 9 (or higher). The downloadable files come in an HD (1.6GB) and SD (603MB) version that are both completely DRM-free .mp4s.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

I paid for the special and got a payment confirmation from Amazon/Paypal, but I didn't get a confirmation email!

The download is going slow as shit. What's up?

That's weird, make sure that you aren't do any other high bandwidth things at the same time, or that there aren't any active issues/firewalls with your ISP.

How do I play this shit on my iPad, XBox, PS3, iPhone, etc?

For all these devices, you need to download to your computer FIRST and then sync it to your device.

For example, iPad's can't save files, so you need to download on your computer and then sync to iTunes by dragging the file to iTunes. The file itself is compatible with all of the above mentioned devices, and any other device that can play a true .mp4 file.

I downloaded the file to my computer but it doesn't work properly!

It's possible that the computer you're using does not have the proper codecs to play the file. If you download the free, open source, VLC player available here, you should be able to play the special without any problems. If you're still having trouble, make sure that the file has been downloaded in its entirety and the file size listed on the site (SD at 603MB, and HD at 1.6GB) is what you're seeing has been downloaded on your computer.

My stream isn't working/my download is going slow or not working!

That's very weird. Make sure that all of your software (the player, browser, etc.) is up-to-date, but also check and see if there are any issues or firewalls with your internet service provider. If you still have problems, email support@azizansari.com.

I have 0 stream and 0 downloads but I just purchased the special!

There may have been a problem with your transaction. Also, if you are using any sort of download accelerator or add on, that will wipe out all of your downloads at once as well. Contact support@azizansari.com and we'll help you out. Just be sure to include the email that you have registered on the site with.
